During Christmas 2007, the Liepāja Museum received a colorful and beautiful gift from St. Anna’s church. The gift was a beautiful and beautiful carpet decorated with Art Nouveau ornaments.
The ornate green carpet, decorated with red floral motifs, used to be in front of the altar in St Anne’s Church. It has been placed in the Museum’s collection with the altar rail of St Anne’s Church.
On the reverse side of the carpet is the maker’s mark “1-ой Русской мануфактуры ковровыхъ изделий ст. Завидово”. The rug was produced in the late 19th or early 20th century at the Zavidov factory in Russia.
