Latvian actor, musician, and director Varis Vētra is known for his lyrical and emotionally charged songs, which often reflect love and faith in the good. His concerts have a warm and soulful atmosphere, which on this occasion will create harmony with the 19th-century interior of the 2nd floor of the Hoyer's House.
The concert at the Liepāja Interior Museum will feature songs from both of his albums, including songs that have been widely played on Latvian radio stations and are popular favorites.
Varis Vētra started writing his own songs in 2003 when he was inspired to do so by participating in the creative camp of the music and art festival “BILDES.” His first album, “Pārdodu vēju un zirgu vēl klāt,” was released in 2010.
Varis Vētra admits that his songs are about ourselves and our love for the world and life: “I try to remind you that life is full of beautiful miracles; we just have to let ourselves see them. So I hope that the songs will also inspire the listeners to see more of the beauty in the world around them and in their inner world!”
Stender's Patisserie will also be open during the event, offering visitors delicious snacks, cakes, and drinks before and during the concert break.
